Sing Along & Read Aloud Mandarin

A fun and engaging introduction to Mandarin through songs, picture books, stories, games and interactive activities.

Children develop their listening and speaking skills naturally while building confidence, vocabulary and early reading foundations.

Best for: Children aged 4+ beginning their Mandarin journey.

Open to: Children from Countess Anne School.

A Structured First Step into Mandarin

Designed for children aged 7+ who are new to Mandarin or at an early stage of learning.

Students build strong foundations in listening, speaking, pinyin, vocabulary and Chinese characters, with a clear pathway towards Jinbu and GCSE Chinese.

Open to: Children from Countess Anne School and other schools in Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City and surrounding areas.

Learn, Grow & Progress with Herts Mandarin

Our Monday classes are taught by Jenny and Sarah, who create a warm, supportive and engaging environment where children can enjoy learning Mandarin and grow in confidence.

Younger learners begin through songs, stories, speaking and reading foundations, while children aged 7+ can follow our structured YCT and Jinbu pathway towards GCSE Chinese.

Whichever class your child joins, the aim is the same: to make Mandarin enjoyable while giving them a clear pathway to keep learning and progressing.
