📙 Jinbu 2（进步2｜Intermediate Stage）

Jinbu 2 is an intermediate stage designed to help students move from basic communication to more natural and fluent Mandarin. At this level, students further strengthen their character-based learning approach, gradually reducing reliance on pinyin and becoming more independent in both reading and expression.

In listening and speaking, students can take part in simple conversations about daily life and personal interests, and begin to produce longer, connected responses. In reading, they are able to understand short texts and stories of around 100–200 characters, improving their ability to identify key information and overall meaning. In writing, students can produce short compositions of around 80–150 characters, using basic paragraph structure and simple logical connections.

The course continues through thematic units, with increasingly rich language input and cultural content. This allows students to use Mandarin in a wider range of contexts while developing greater flexibility and expressive ability. Lessons include reading comprehension, discussion activities, structured writing practice, and cultural exploration to support well-rounded language development.

Teaching remains highly interactive, combining game-based learning, task-based activities, and structured writing practice. This helps students stay engaged while steadily improving their language skills. Home learning includes writing practice, reading comprehension tasks, and App-based activities to reinforce classroom learning and support independent study.

By the end of Jinbu 2, students are able to hold more natural basic conversations, read longer texts, and write structured short passages, preparing them for progression into the GCSE Chinese learning pathway.

Jinbu 2是中级阶段，旨在帮助学生从基础表达过渡到更自然、更流畅的中文交流能力，并进一步提升阅读与写作的独立性。在这一阶段，学生继续强化以汉字为核心的学习路径，逐渐减少对拼音的依赖，开始更独立地进行阅读与表达。

学生在听说方面能够围绕日常生活与兴趣主题进行简单对话，并逐步形成连续表达能力。在阅读方面，学生能够阅读100–200字的短文与故事材料，提升信息提取与整体理解能力。在写作方面，学生能够完成80–150字的短文写作，具备基础段落结构与简单逻辑表达能力。

课程继续以主题单元推进，并在原有基础上增加更复杂的语言表达与文化内容，使学生能够在更丰富语境中使用中文，提升语言的灵活性与表达深度。课堂活动包括阅读理解、讨论表达、结构化写作与文化拓展学习，确保语言能力全面发展。

教学方式保持高度互动性，通过游戏化活动、任务型学习与系统写作训练相结合，让学生在积极参与中稳步提升语言能力。课后学习包括写作练习、阅读理解训练以及App拓展学习，用于巩固课堂内容并强化自主学习能力。

完成Jinbu 2后，学生能够进行较自然的基础交流，阅读较长文本，并完成结构化短文写作，具备进入GCSE Chinese学习体系的能力。
